Mission Statement:
The North High School Student Services Department recognizes that the education of our students can only be successful if we are conscious of the “whole child” in our endeavors. Students entering our building today have needs that cannot be addressed by classroom instruction alone. The mental, emotional, physical, and social well-being of our students directly affects their success in the classroom. The North High School Student Services Department is dedicated to promoting the health of the whole child.

Provide individual counseling
Facilitate support groups
Assist students in planning their high school course of study
Consult with teachers, parents, and administrators to help students succeed
Assist individuals to effectively access community resources
Administer tests and review results to provide information about abilities, needs, achievements and interests
Coordinate efforts with other school specialists
Coordinate referrals to outside agencies
Assist students with post-high school planning
